Well we all know who Ruthie likes best. In fact, in one of her old GROVER books called “Grover’s Monster Album” there are monsters SHE doesn’t even know. Actually, I am not sure Oscar is a monster. He is a grouch. Despite my always repeating and pausing every time I ever say GROVER to Drake & Guppy’s little cousin, his first monster word is COOKIE. He has one (new) Cookie Monster toy and named it that day. He has innumerable Grovers and has never tried to say it. It’s not that he can’t say G, bc he says Goo for the Goose his Auntie got him. And lastly, I never thought of Grover as from Eastern Europe. Interesting. But I do know that his birthday is October 14 and that all my Grover books only have Grover’s Mommy but no Daddy…

I only recently saw an ep with Little Murray Sparkles. LOVED him.

Love Telly, but not Baby Bear. Elmo, but not Zoe. Neither Big Bird or Snuffy. Both Oscar and Slimey. Grover and Cookie. Never felt much for Kermit.

My sister got me, um, I mean the boys, Sesame Street Old School dvds for Christmas. In the early eps, Big Bird is a pinhead who stutters (the round frame of feathers came later), and Oscar is orange.

I like Cookie. And I like Telly. And if we ever get another cat, I will name it Little Murray Sparkles in homage.

Grover and Cookie Monster are also favs. Where is Grover from? Eastern Europe somewhere…?

I find Big Bird very off-putting.
