In my books, Arrested Development still gets the blue ribbon for best continuity and insider jokes, but HIMYM might do it better because often their jokes are funny even if you're only a casual viewer. They're just *more* funny if you've been watching for a while! That's a cool little anecdote about the wedding episode!
