I allowed them to get one candy item together--they chose the Lego candy (which can be stacked just like Legos, but I fear sends the wrong message: Look, edible Legos! See my recent vitamin kerfuffle.) And I bought spice drops, old-fashioned gum drops, sparkle mints, and the next to smallest bag of Chicago-mix popcorn, a combo of butter, caramel and cheese that might very well be my Kryptonite or crack. Apparently there's an inverse relationship between the economy and the size of my derriere. Perhaps I should engage in some squat-thrusts to benefit the nation...?
