		<description>We watched Wallender on the DVR when it was on PBS, and I agree with your assessment.  I also would add that even the good episodes could be ponderous, and lost momentum in the middle.  I found the one episode suffered from a British version of Hey! It's that Guy, which meant I identified the likely suspect from seeing the actor elsewhere.

State of Play, the US movie version, was not good.  We just rented it on PPV (pluses to this include the cost is lower than going to the theater, we can get it in HD, we can pause when anyone wakes up/starts crying, and we can even record it if the evening gets away from us), but it wasn't even worth that.  Long stretches of showing people walking purposefully or typing to music was enough to put me to sleep.  The end twist was silly.</description>
