No, that's why the quotes. The professer was pretty close to certifiable. He was an English professor who was currently getting his BFA in theater at the same university...and was OBSESSED with Shakespeare. His Syllabus was 14 pages long all small text in PARAGRAPHS. Going on and on about how football is linked back to a game played on the holidays during the type of feasts and local performances held like the one we were going to do. And then...he'd quiz us on the Syllabus. Not asking us when the final was but more like "What sport loved by Americans..." His quizzes on the reading were even worse. Not asking about characters or plot development in large, but asking SPECIFICALLY what insult one character would call another at ONE SPECIFIC point in the play.

We actually had to go out and learn combat with silver painted tomato sticks and GIANT quarter staffs he cut and kept in his office. There was never a day where we just got to sit down and do group work or read or discuss literature like a normal English class.

I've had all SORTS of cramps and contractions this pregnancy compared to the NOTHING I felt in the first one (though I'm not exactly sure how far along you are).

Also, In college (almost two years ago now) I took a class called Feast and Folly, and we put on Shakespeare "As it was done" in the past with 'local costume' and minimal props. We did the Tempest. It was rather fun.
