It was a poor adaptation. I was so disappointed. The filmmakers didn't get the tone right; it was so serious, it was so dull, it didn't capture the humor of the book. And that guy -- the guy who was Buffy's boyfriend for awhile? Who played Neal in the movie? Aw, man, he just can't act. He was so wooden. And the actress who played Topaz -- so not right!
