Funny, today for the very first time I tried boots over jeans. I don't think I look that great, but suddenly I felt jauntier.
Champagne. That's something else on my list.

I should clarify that I do not hate all Apple products - I am one of those annoying people who has only owned mac computers her entire life, I love my iPod, and yes, we even have an iPad (which, despite my early skepticism actually rocks on many fronts). But I HATE the iPhone, in large part, I think, because of how obnoxious most people who own iPhones are about said gadgets. I think my hatred might be less encompassing than it was when they first launched, but I am still not a fan esp. since the iPhone is supposedly not very good as an actual phone.

I don't care for either Twilight or The DaVinci Code, but I don't feel especially guilty about the lack of appreciation I have for either of them, so I didn't include them on my list!

I forgot one of my big non-loves: Zombies. Just don't like 'em. Walking Dead comic or show? No thanks.

Jennifer, I watched the first season of Glee and liked it, then quit after the second season began. It was so bad and uneven that I couldn't much remember why I thought I'd loved it before.

Steph, I wish I could unread Room. Appreciated it when I read it, hate it in memory. I don't tweet, thought Battlestar Galactica never lived up to its early promise (much like the Matrix trilogy), I do like Mad Men, don't do Apple and YES to short stories. And I don't have legs that could ever support boots over jeans.

CSA: a combination of boredom/guilt/annoyance. Often bored by what came, guilty if I didn't use or freeze it or give it before it went bad, and annoyed because I felt I had to use stuff from the box rather than buying what I wanted at the store and farmers market. The anxiety and guilt lessened when we went to a half box every other week, but I never felt the love.

And perhaps it's not fair to not love Twilight or The DaVinci Code without reading them, but I'm goign to stand by my non-love. I felt the same way about The Red Tent, which I read and found as bad in some ways as I'd feared.

Love it! (And I totally feel you on the poetry thing, btw.) Was wondering what your grievance with CSAs was, though... Too much food spoilage and pressure to cook everything?

Here's my list:
Room by Emma Donoghue
Charles Dickens
Sex and the City
The Social Network
Twitter
Mad Men
Battlestar Galactica
iPhones
short stories
boots over jeans
