I bought yeast in bulk yesterday rather than packets on your advice, and am thinking that making butter would be a fun rainy day science project with the kids, no matter what your title says! I hope it's good... I didn't get my act together this year and was blasé about the Southern Festival of Books, assuming no one of interest was attending. Several hours after many cool authors spoke, I realized that Kevin Wilson had had a little session and rued not being more thorough in my investigation of visiting authors. Sigh. I really enjoyed it. But it's a little sad to think it couldn't happen that way now. FYI, I picked up Blood, Bones and Butter on a clearance table, so if you want to borrow it, I do have it.
