This just had me laughing even more than Shaun did. And I loved the gun battle' at the end! Great review nonetheless! I think having an affection for geek culture really made a difference for me, where I liked Shaun, but don't love zombies, and liked Hot Fuzz more, as I enjoy silly cop movies more than zombie flicks. I thought it was very fun! incorporated lots of fun stuff from video games (the coins falling) and comic books in general (all the fights are very superhero-y) and I just had a grin on my face the whole time. I really like that pastiche of influence style which is what I like in Tarantino movies as well. I liked that movie without reading the books!

Watched it a few months ago and found it largely painful and while not entirely incomprehensible, I didn't really care about the story it was telling.
