A very interesting experiment and I will have to print this out for my own use. I've found, in my state of semi-employment, that housekeeping takes over my day if I'm not careful as it is so much more enjoyable than writing/thinking about writing/trying to sell writing. I have to limit myself to 1 hour a day and I set the timer and am not allowed to clean or tidy after that (until after dinner, that is.) I let myself listen to audiobooks or podcasts for that hour -- which is probably why it's so enjoyable -- and sometimes put it off to delay gratification.
